Background: Natalie Portman was originally born and raised in Jerusalem during the first three years of her childhood. In 1984, her family moved out of her home country and settled down in Syosset, Long Island, New York. After a few years working as a model, Portman found her passion in acting and eventually had her first-ever debut in Leon, where she was casted as a hitman's protege.
Not many would know that Natalie Portman is an incredible role model. While pursuing an acting career, she also went to Harvard University and in 2003, she graduated with a degree in Psychology. The character also helped her win an Academy Award for best actress. Thanks to that movie, she met her husband - Benjamin Millepied and they married in 2012.
